The Mid-Pacific Carnival was a popular event in Honolulu we're lucky to know about because of several beautiful Hawaiian posters that were produced at the time. If the ocean and Diamond Head landscape with the lovely hula dancer is any indication Waikiki was once a lush paradise with just a handful of sun worshippers and bathers.
